PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for the maintenance of all HVAC Equipment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish possible cause of breakdowns through troubleshooting.
Identify the root cause of the failure and implement corrective action to repair the fault.
Support production trouble shooting and technical difficulties.
Carry out inspection on running machinery and equipment.
Carry out scheduled maintenance in conjunction with production planning.
Perform shutdown maintenance during non-operation periods.
Ensure machinery is safe to work on during breakdown maintenance.
Ensure adherence to all safety rules and regulations and ensure good housekeeping standards.
Ensure that all breakdown job cards are completed.
Make recommendations to Engineering Department on process improvements and continuous liaisons with contractors during maintenance and upgrades.
Support the MDW programme by participation in problem solving workshops

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Formal Qualification in HVAC Equipment (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) coupled with an Artisan (Refrigeration Mechanic) Trade.
Approximately 3-5 years’ experience in an Industrial Manufacturing Environment.
Experience with HVAC Equipment.
