Regional Accountant - Cape Town

Regional accountant in Cape Town, Epping, Salary R 27 350 + Car allowance + Medical Aid + Retirement Fund

THE JOB INVOLVES:

- Ensuring that all accounting / admin and internal control systems are properly adhered to

- Assisting Regional and Branch Managemement with all accounting / admin functions

- Preparing of monthly financial statements and interpretation there of

- Preparation of monthly management reports

- Interpreting and writing financial reports once month end results are completed

- Preparation of annual budgets

- Monitoring perfomance against budgets and continually  re - evaluating forecasts

- Understanding statutory requirements  eg VAT  Imports, Exports

- Ensuring that official records are accurately and timeosly maintained

- Liaising with Internal Audit , Salarie, Legal, Human resources , Transport and IT Departments at Head Office

REQUIREMENTS

- B Commerce in Accounting  or Equivalent Degree

- A Minimum of 3 years Accounting Experience in a Commercial Enviroment

- Computer Literacy especially in Word and Excel

- Be prepared to travel

- Be meticulous and Pay attention to detail

- Accuracy as the job involves extensive figure work

- Good interpersonal skills

- Preferance will be given to EE and DISABLED Candidates
