Top fuel technology firm seeks Regional Maintenance Manager. Manage the maintenance team for fuel equipment and tanks - on the mines. Team includes a number of technicians and supervisors.

To ensure the overall profitability and efficiency of the operation. To strategically enhance and optimise the operation.

Drive maintenance strategy. Ensure that fuel equipment and fuel tanks are maintained according to mine safety requirements. Ensure that uptime on equipment is maximised.

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Fuel pumps at the mines. sector. All duties would take place in this context.

Strategic:
* Drive overall maintenance strategy
* Enhance and improve maintenance strategy
* Ensure quality through regular audits and inspections
* Identify causes of quality issues and correct

Oversee:
* Fault diagnostics
* Fault repairs
* Inspections
* Preventative maintenance
Installations
* Mechanical Fitting

Assist with:
* Complex faults
* Staff training and up-skilling

Ensure:
* Adherence to quality and safety
* Adherence to mine's standard operating procedures

Quotations:
* Compile quotations and estimates for repairs and new installations

Co-ordination:
* Create maintenance schedules
* Ensure adherence to maintenance best practices
* Manage stock levels
* Manage invoices and ensure payment received
* Maintain Health, Safety, Security and Environment packs
* Reporting on faults, uptime and breakdowns via company IT reporting system

Customer service:
* Meet with clients on a weekly basis
* Ensure 100% satisfaction
* Fix any issues and put in proactive plan to prevent recurrence
* Willing to work after hours if required

Background work experience

* 10 years electro-mechanical fault finding and repair
* 5 years management experience
* Experience on Pipes, Pumps, Nozzles, Control Circuits, Electronics
* N6 or S4 Electromechanical
* Pref: Management Diploma

Additional Requirements

* Must be in excellent physical health
* No drugs and alcohol addictions (You will be tested)
