Regional Manager: Boland / Garden Route / West Coast

The Doves Group (Pty) Ltd is a leading service organisation in the funeral directing and insurance sector.
The suitably qualified and successful incumbent will be a self-starter with effective analytical skills, sales driven with business acumen as well as good communication with solid administrative skills. The position is based in Observatory.

The incumbent must be able to manage and control a profitable business unit through the following:
? Manage growth and profitability of the region (Increase revenue and manage costs)
? Finance / Management for region and cost centres
? Must be able to understand and implement budgets by setting daily/ weekly/ monthly targets
? Crucial staff leadership & staff Management
? Facilitate and organize marketing and sales activities of the region
? Cost control Management
? Drive sales across all income streams (Insurance, burial, memorial)
? Must be able to do performance management and skills development of subordinates
? Good interpretation skills of reading reports and identifying key indicators big advantage

Minimum Requirements
• Willingness to travel extensively within region with own reliable vehicle.
• Have facilitating and leadership skills necessary to drive a team, maximizing performance through understanding the key service drivers.
• Business related Degree/Diploma preferably B Compt
• RE Level 1 an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years senior management experience
• Marketing and leadership experience through previous involvement in the funeral and or long term insurance division is an advantage.
