An upmarket private retirement village is looking to increase their dedicated and passionate team with a Registered Nurse Aged Care and Assisted Living who will manage the overall healthcare function per shift with the guidance of the Unit Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Management and motivation of shift staff
• Ensuring medication is administered correctly and timeously
• Administration duties such as report writing of shift, attendance of staff, recording doctors instructions and handing over to the next shift.
• Ensuring that all dietary requirements are followed by the Catering Department

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be a Registered Nurse – SANC Registered
• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in assisted living or frail care
• Good interpersonal skills, good leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attributes: Well spoken, neat presentation and must be able to communicate with aged care patients.
