Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Relevant nursing qualification
- Registered with the SANC as a Registered Nurse
- 2 years experience within a nursing discipline essential (cardiac care)

Responsibilities:
- Practice patient care according to the Scope of Practice
- Ensure that all patients have the appropriate nursing care plan
- Refer all complaints from patients and doctors to the sister in charge of the unit
- Communicate any patient health changes with the doctors
- Carry out all departmental duties as assigned
- Mentoring and supervision of junior staff
- Ensure all stock is well controlled and managed
- Reports and acts upon potential/actual risks identified
