A private facility in the Pretoria seeks to employ a Neo Natal ICU experienced Registered Nurse;

Key Responsibilities:

• As an RN – NICU you will contribute to the holistic care of patients
• Promote patient health and well being
• Practice the principles of infection prevention and all Standard precautions
• Execute all procedures according to Hospital standards
• Adhere to all Hospital policies and principles
• Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with the Machinery and Occupational Safety Act
• Work effectively and cooperatively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships that are mutually beneficial
• Manage acuity and skill mix to ensure appropriate level of care

Applicants for this position must have:

• A relevant nursing qualification (Dip. in General Nursing) BCur in General Nursing
• You must have previous NICU experience
• NICU qualification will be an advantage
• Registered with SANC
• Need to help establish and grow a new ward
• Need to be able to teach and grow the Unit.
• Preferably an older candidate.
• Must be able to work with Avia Ventilators, CPAP
