Job title: Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Ward
Report to: Unit Manager
Location: Tshwane

Introduction: Vacancy has arisen for position of Registered Nurse in the Orthopedic Ward in Pretoria. The above position reports to Unit Manager. The successful candidates will contribute to the effective functioning of this unit and ensure quality nursing.

Requirements
• Must be a qualified Registered Nurse and be registered with SANC.
• Experience in Orthopedic Ward will be advantageous.
• Must be able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment.
• Must be willing to fulfill a role in the working day and night duty

• Strong customer orientation, team player, very energetic, well organized.
• Strong inter-personal skills

Duties and Responsibility
• Ensuring that unit is run according to acceptable legal standards.
• Maintaining excellent patient and customer care in accordance with Life Healthcare standards.
• Maintaining sound relationships and communication with patients, relatives and the multi-disciplinary team.
• Building professional relationships with Doctors and therapists to promote patient-doctor interaction.
• Maintaining all Health, Safety and Infection Control standards.

Working hours: TBD

Salary: negotiable
