Job Description

Continual service of opencast mining equipment
Conducting regular and formal downtime analysis for critical equipment
Analysing maintenance procedures and making recommendations to improve effectiveness
Assisting In the completion of risk assessments for maintenance activities and supporting the development of safe work procedures.
Identify pending failures that can be planned and scheduled in the future
Planned/unplanned maintenance on opencast equipment
Reporting on daily activities, making sure the task list is completed
Uphold quality work performance
Increase quality work performance
Faultfinding - Electrical and Mechanical
Minimum Requirements

Valid Millwright Trade Test
Drivers license
Opencast mining experience - minimum of 5 years
Must be strong in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
Experience on Loader’s (will be advantageous)
Ideally having a diesel background
Ability to work overtime, shifts, standby and on weekends if/when required
