Our client is currently recruiting for a Rental Operations Team Leader, to work within and support the South African operations structure, specifically Rentals.

The position is available immediately, and is based in Cape Town (Brackenfell)

Position Description:
The purpose of this position is to ensure the performance of the Rental Operations Support in the Coastal region from request to installation, including disinfection and cancellation. This requires the Rental Operations Team Leader to track assets and orders as well as forecast future supply needs.
The position is based at our office in Brackenfell, Cape Town.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following; other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
• Assume responsibility of Rental Operations department and managing a team of 11 people.
• Strong people management (drivers, disinfection center staff).
• Responsible for operation of 4 cleaning centers nationally.
• Asset management and tracking.
• Collaboration between Sales, Marketing and Rental Operations.
• Monthly dashboard.
• Continuous improve program.
• Responsible for service levels and SOPs with customers.
• Responsible for vehicle fleet.

Qualification (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Qualifications
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Relevant Logistics/Supply Chain tertiary qualification will be an advantage

Requirements
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position (Operations/Logistics with asset management, fleet management, people management, status reporting).
• Strong People manager
• Previous Accpac experience, Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate to Advanced Excel for detailed analysis)
• Out of the box ideas, common sense application, attention to detail, executor.
• Customer Service Orientated (Turnaround time of Installations/Cancellations to Customers, Sales team, Management)
• Valid Code 08 driver’s license, own liable vehicle
• Ability to work independently, but within a team
• Excellent communication skills
