R8500 – R9000 (live-in)

Junior Reservations position available for busy award-winning family resort.

Job Position Details:
• Grade 12
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hotel / resort reservations position
• Previous Front of House experience
• Knowledge of reservations systems and online booking agents
• Extremely “sales orientated” with a lot of attention to all guests
• Proficient with quoting groups
• Good listening skills, professional and polite telephone manner
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
• “Moderate” computer skills including e-mail correspondence
• Excellent customer care skills
• Ability to deal with difficult calls in a calm and professional manner
• Good time management and reliability
• Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when necessary
• Fluent in English (Read, write, understand and speak) – Xhosa and Afrikaans will be an advantage
• Assist the Management team with Duty Management shifts when required
• Must be able to work flexi hours to assist with setting up and attending functions and events
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Must be able to live and work closely with others in a remote area
• Must be able to take and input reservations correctly and efficiently according to guest requirements and hotel policies / procedures
