Our client currently seeks a Reservations Manager to join their team. Our client seeks a socially focused, detail orientated and highly organised leader who can operate under pressure to manage the reservations function.Experience:
Must have at least 3 years 4/5* Hotel experience in a reservations role; as well as at least 1 years 4/5* Hotel experience in a reservations or coordination surpervisory role or 2 years 5* Hotel experience in a front office management role.Hospitality Management Diploma Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and ExcelWorking knowledge of Opera property management system and various extranet distribution channelsHighly presentableExcellent command of the English language with solid verbal and written communication skills
Key Areas:
To manage the Reservations Department for the hotel.To ensure that the highest standard of performance and service is achieved when reserving accommodation, function space and additional services.To maximize the occupancy and average room rates of the properties by applying the guidelines and procedures of the department.
