Job Description

Developing of site admin systems and overseeing of site admin staff to implement
Reviewing work programmes and extracting Work Schedules for subcontractors
Extracting Material Supply schedules to correspond with Work Schedules
Extracting Cash requirement from Work Programme/planning and scheduling of IPC revenue.
Consolidating Material Supply schedules and planning/scheduling of material orders and deliveries
Overseeing implementation of QA System and documentation processed by site staff.

Minimum Requirements

Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Building Construction
Registered at SACPCMP as Professional Construction Project Manager preferred
Registered with ECSA as PR Technologist or PR Engineer
7 - 10 Years post qualification experience in contract management of housing projects (preferably low-cost (subsidy housing) with at least 5 years experience in a Site Manager / Site Agent capacity
Experience in project planning and-scheduling, including resource planning and scheduling using MS Projects
Preference will be given to individuals with experience in Training Facilitator in construction management unit standards (commonly Construction Contractor NQF 2)
Experience in logistical planning and supporting for building projects
Efficient working knowledge of Ms Word, Excel etc.
Ability to develop and using practical and effective site management tools
Must be able to negotiate and conclude sub-contacts and to manage sub-contractors
Own vehicle & valid driver’s licence
Preference will be given to individuals residing in Cape Town
