Our market leading pharmaceutical client is looking for a Responsible Pharmacist to occupy the above mentioned vacancy. Reports to dynamic, fast paced CEO and will be responsible for ensuring registration of products and the achievement of regulatory and quality compliance within SA and cross border.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
B. Pharm Degree
Qualified Pharmacist registered with the SA Pharmacy Council
7-10 years regulatory Pharmacist experience
Business qualification or training
Financial acumen
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Valid driver’s license and own car
Computer literacy particularly MS Office
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Must be presentable
Sound planning and organizational ability Energetic and capable of working independently
Must be willing to work under pressure
Must be hard working and self-motivated
Proven self-starter and motivator
Strong numerical ability and interpersonal skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of this job involves liaising with manufacturers, Medicines Control Council during the regulatory process, handling of complex quality issues in order to satisfy Sales and Marketing, Health Care Practitioners (HCP) and other customers within the market.
Liaise and advise regulatory and packaging development personnel at the various locations on issues arising or any amendments required for labelling of products.
Regulate release of finished product
Ensuring the registration of products and maintenance of dossiers
Functional reporting to Head of company Regulatory executive
The main responsibility is that of Responsible Pharmacist in terms of the South African Pharmacy Council.
Monitor, report and analyse variance between actual performance and budgets and implement corrective measures.
Monthly Sales & marketing analysis in order to assess past and future campaigns
Compiling and submission of Sales & Marketing plans
To ensure understanding of the Medicines Control Council guidelines and pass assessments
Handle (PVG) complaints and refer to the relevant responsible person ie. PVG Manager
Ensure that complaints are addressed and handled within the required timelines to comply with the SOPs.
