Restaurant Manager

A restaurant based on a well-established wine farm just outside of Paarl is currently seeking to employ an outgoing and passionate Restaurant Manager to take the restaurant to new heights.

Requirements:
• Matric Certificate/ Grade 12 Certificate
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• 3- 5 years’ experience in a Restaurant Manager role
• Outgoing personality and lots of energy
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent people motivational skills
• Wide knowledge of food preparation and presentation
• Exposure to hospitality labour law
• Excellent wine knowledge in general and its service delivery expectations

Responsibilities
• Effectively manage all service aspects of the restaurant, including a la carte, functions and picnics
• Ensuring excellent food presentation.
• Ensuring that all customers are satisfied with the service
• Responsible for all administrative duties relevant to the restaurant
• Drive the financial viability of the restaurant through, sales generation, management of staff and assets
• Handling of client queries
• Staff training
• Overall stock control
