Our client whose restaurant is a unique African restaurant in the heart of Cape Town is seeking a compassionate, highly organised individual to join their team.

Requirements:
• Experienced – minimum 10 years in restaurants or hotels
• Compassionate: handle staff in a compassionate manner, not a dictator.
• Attention to detail.
• Highly organised
• Able to work with highly diverse ethnic staff
• Must have an understanding of African culture.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the overall restaurant in the evenings – entertainment, front of house and kitchen staff. Around 80 odd staff in season
• Deal with clients, site inspections and nightly diners
• Manage events
• Work 6 nights a week
• Salary R15K – R20K per month
• Cell phone allowance
