State of the art facility around Durban seeking a RN – ICU Night Duty to work in there 12 Bedded Surgical ICU.

Key Responsibilities:

• This RN – ICU should be able ventilate comfortably
• Patients treated in this Surgical ICU would be Orthopaedics, Neuro and Cardiac
• Reports and acts upon potential/actual risks identified.
• Position is for Permanent Night Duty with working toward lowering the mortality rate of patients in ICU.

Applicants for this position must :

• Be SANC Registered as a Registered Nurse
• Post basic qualification in Critical Care Nursing would be advantageous but not a prerequisite
• Must have min. 24 months and more experience in Nursing ICU patients
• The position is for Night Duty and you should be able to ventilate comfortability using the VELA and Hamilton ventilators in ICU.
