Requirements:
- Grade 12
- NQF 2 / 3 qualification
- Thorough understanding of welding processes
- Knowledge of Panasonic and OTC robots
- Computer literate
- Basic machine maintenance knowledge
- Knowledge of the operation and programming of KUKA Robots KRC2
- Knowledge of resistance welding and glue applications systems
- Knowledge of Siemens PLC or similar
- Understanding of quality management ISO TS (***)-***-****
- Must be willing to work shifts

Responsibilities:
- Weld optimization on all lines
- Develop new product welding programme
- Continuous improvement
- Implementation of Asset Care and preventative maintenance
- Control welding consumables for all robots
- Assist the SBU teams when needed
