National Diploma (or equivalent) in Health & Safety Management
SAMTRAC certificates essential. Sound knowledge of OHSA and NATIONAL Environmental Act
Minimum 3 years SHEQ experience within mining environment
Implementation of SHEQ policies as per legislation.
Inspections and audits.
Investigation of Health and Safety environment
Knowledge of Waste Management and environmental matters
Ensure compliance to MINE matters and OPERATING LICENSES
Monthly site visits and audits.
Conducting daily SHEQ inspection on the machinery and workplace.
Ensure safety equipment are in good conditions and maintained.
Ensure requirements applicable to safety and health, environment and quality of employees have force of law and have been complied to.
Ensure that every employee is properly trained or possess the necessary qualifications for the safe execution of their work
Conduct accident/ incident investigation and write report.
Conduct monthly SHE audit, and monthly SHE meetings.
Write monthly report and monthly statistics. .
