Main Purpose
To provide support to the Capital equipment Sales Department
Key Performance Areas
• Sales Support
• Administration
• Customer Services
Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain and manage costing data and equipment cost sheets
• Implement and maintain master customer data base and related price structures
• Monitor and identify industry related tenders
• Follow up on quotes weekly
• Ensure that the internal office procedures are efficiently maintained
• Liaise with internal departments as and when required
• File, Document Control and Enquires Register Maintenance
• Ensure weekly and month end sales reports are done correctly
• Enter purchchase orders received into the system
• Assist customer with queries
• Following through pending orders
• Request prices from local and overseas suppliers
External and internal customer
• Sales Team
• Project Team
• Suppliers
• Support Teams (Applications, IT, Finance, Legal Counsel)
• Aftermarket Team
Job Requirement
• Matric
• Technical tertiary education advantageous
• 2 years’ experience in similar role
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• JDE experience (Advantageous)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Customer focused and able to build relations
• Administration skills
• Organization skills
• Able to work independently and a team
• Attention to detail
