PURPOSE:

To support the Sales and Marketing team on implementation and delivery of the National Sales strategy.

CUSTOMER OBJECTIVES:
• Undertake comprehensive analysis of Channels, Customers and Categories in line with business objectives.
• Calculate profitability of Channel segments.
• Assist with customer targeting via segment and geography.
• Analyze and Recommend changes to sales mix to assist with achieving of targets.
• Understand and apply logistical cost savings to the sales mix.
• Track progress throughout the month in line with budget.
• Manage Customer Data base in line with channel segmentation objectives

MARKET INTELLIGENCE:

• Liaise with Sales to understand the market dynamics.
• In coordination with Marketing, analyze market sizes, shares and trends.
• Track retail prices (customer’s price trends)
• Competitor activity

SALES PERFORMANCE TRACKING :

• Develop and manage sales performance reports and dashboard
• Make recommendation on information system and contribute to improvements on a project per project basis
• Contribute to the overall management cycle as a key contributor for the sales and marketing teams (Strategic review, performance planning)
• Track achieved vs. desired prices per customer
• Work with Sales Managers to achieve distribution targets, eg. Numeric, OTIF targets

BUDGET/ FORECAST:

• Direct involvement in budget management cycle
• Work with Sales teams to determine budget targets by customer
• Calculate and update forecast volumes and profitability.

• Manage Sale and Marketing Expenses in line with Budget
• Manage all travel arrangements as required by the Sales and Marketing teams
• Manage all Meetings – Minutes, refreshments, venue, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Minimum Marketing Diploma is essential.
• Previous administrative, analytical or related experience is essential.
• Computer literacy is critical with Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Must be proactive and self-driven.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Good planning, organizational, attention to detail, problem solving skills are essential
