Sales and Account Manager - Sandton
Our client a market leader in the hospitality industry are currently recruiting for a dynamic and driven Sales and Account Manager. The successful candidate would be responsible for growing business for their resorts which will develop new account portfolios and build these relationships in order to maximize and drive revenue. ? Hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients.
? Develop an Account Portfolio by visiting clients on a regular basis
? Take responsibility for maintaining the client database.
? Respond to enquiries from clients, resorts and 3rd parties.
? Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct sales channel.
? Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your clients.
? Build relationships between clients and resorts.
? Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to clients’ needs and objectives
? Take ownership of marketing events and relationships with your allocated accounts.
? Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal stakeholders
? Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline and strategic partnerships
? Give up-to-date information relating to client activities.
? Establish and build a strong relationship with internal stakeholders
? Provide high standard of client service continually.
? Build market intelligence.
Qualification and other requirements:
? Matric and Relevant diploma or degree (would be beneficial )
? Computer literate- Advanced MS Office skills
? At least 4 years proven track record in working in a new business sales role preferably in the hospitality industry
? At least 4 years proven account management or other relevant experience in relationship building skills.
? A genuine hunger for sales and all things sales
? Own reliable vehicle
? Solid experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
? Excellent and proven ability generating new businesses and reactivating old accounts.
? Manage multiple accounts at a time while paying strict attention to detail
? Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
? Excellent verbal and written communications skills
? Strong reporting skills
? Highly self-motivated.
