Purpose of Job:

Operate within assigned region Educate potential clients on ITS’s service and project offerings Soliciting new business opportunities within the scope of ITS’s service offering under Maintenance, Service and Repairs (MSR) Soliciting new business opportunities within the scope of ITS’s project offering Searching for and matching advertised tenders to ITS’s service and project offering and presenting these to the MD for approval Compiling and preparing of MD approved and / or assigned tenders Calling on existing clients and exposing them to further ITS service and project offerings Closing tenders and Service Level Agreements SLAs Client relationship management Expand market share and promote ITS Negotiating and closing of contracts

High Level Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years large tender, sales and SLA experience within in the same industry Understand and have working knowledge of all site specific safety, security acts and any codes, as may be required form time to time Proven performance history and track record of successfully closing deals, winning tenders and negotiating contracts Must have had exposure and work according to conventional project management principles and frameworks (PERT; PMBOK; PRINCE2) Must be able to work within a team environment Able to work independently and use initiative Natural problem solving ability with strong technical aptitude Ability to work under pressure as well as long hours Must be flexible and able to take criticism and willing to learn Individual will have a high degree of accountability Attention to detail and accuracy Individual will take responsibility for all assigned tenders, contracts, deals and SLAs Must be able to scope, cost, plan, submit and close tenders in line with the Purpose of Job, as indicated above Ability to chair and run meetings effectively Candidate to be of good physical health, to be able to inspect project sites and installations, and carry out duties and responsibilities with ease Be neat and presentable at all times
Required Skills:

PC Literacy – Outlook, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Windows Operating Software and product specific software Fire Detection experience PA System experience CCTV System experience Access Control experience BMS experience CCTV IP experience Alarm System experience Gas Suppression System Excellent budgetary control Ability to brief technical staff on tenders, projects and contracts Ability to prioritize workloads Ability to format procedures and work flow systems which accurately reflect the tender operations is essential Excellent timekeeping skills Must have flexibility to switch between tenders and work to deadlines
