Sales Assistant

Area: CBD
Salary: R5 000 + pen. Opportunity to earn comm when settled
Hours: Retail – Mon – Fri: 8am – 5pm, Saturdays 8am – 1 pm (rotation)

Established Leather Giant is looking for an outgoing, energetic person to join their team and be the right-hand person to their Senior Sales Consultant.
You will be dealing with anyone from scholars to designers, corporates and hobbyist.

Background or interest/passion for interior design or anything leather related would be advantageous, especially when assisting customers

This is a position for someone with an EAGER sales personality wanting to work within a creative environment.
Right attitude & computer skills will get you in!!!

Requirements:
* MATRIC
* Min 3 years sales experience
* MUST BE Computer literate: Word, Excel
* KEEN EYE FOR DETAIL, GOOD COMMUNICATION & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

Duties:
* Drive sales
* service and maintain the active customer base as given
* develop the % of repeat business from the active customer base
* develop new customers through sourcing prospective customers
* meet and exceed monthly targets
* complete and adhere to all administrative policies and procedures (invoicing, etc)
