Our Client in the Steel Manufacturing Industry is looking for a Sales/ Branch Manager to join their team in Paarl.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Establishing the actual and potential needs and problems of customers and potential customers through regular visits and contact

To recommend products and services as a solution to the customer’s needs and concerns

To sell the benefits of purchasing from the company to the customer

To attain the Sales Targets or other objectives as set by Management

To keep abreast of product knowledge, market opportunities and competitor activities through customer contact and market surveys

To provide quotes to customers

To assist with debt collections at month end and when required

To manage all employees at the Branch

To control the daily delivery of Steel to the customers

To submit order requisitions to Head Office for Branch expenses/ stock buyouts

Ensure that the premises, machinery and vehicle are maintained

Submit weekly report to the Regional Manager

Requirements:

At least 3+ years Sales Experience (Experience within a similar industry beneficial).

Relevant Qualification advantageous.

Matric

Salary – R8,000.00 to R12,000.00pm Depending on Experience.
