Top manufacturing firm based on the West rand of JHB is looking for a Sales Co-ordinator. Work with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, following up and closing sales. Obtain orders and process customer queries in a sufficient and timeous manner while maintaining all relevant sales administration.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

• Assistance with regards to the co-ordination of promotional, marketing and advertising activities to create product and services awareness for brand development.
• Assistance in following up on tenders and record reasons for unsuccessful tenders so that improvements can be made when submitting future tenders.
• Conduct customer needs assessments, product specifications and prepare quotations in conjunction with technical, production and logistics departments.
• Process quotations and official orders in a timely manner to ensure client's approval.
• Assistance with regards to reporting on performance and present sales and marketing reports relating to performance targets.
• Ensure that customer satisfaction surveys are carried out bi-annually to improve on shortcomings.
• Maintain a methodical filing system of all administrative and sales records so that information can be accessed effortlessly when needed.
• Maintain existing client database .
• Report and escalate information to management team as needed.
• Assist in preparation of project proposals, timeframes, schedule and budget.

EDUCATION:

• Grade 12 (minimum)
• Additional courses and training will be an advantage

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 3 years sales and marketing experience.
