Our vehicle fleet client is looking to employ a Commercial Sales Consultant in Midrand.

Min Experience Required 3 - 5 Years
Min Education Required Grade 12/Matric

Job Description Achieve the minimum allocated sales targets in relevant industry (commercial)
Deliver an efficient and effective service to both internal and external clients at all times
Building relationships with allocated industry / channel
Targeting new customers / business opportunities and grow portfolio
Visiting customers as per call cycle to maintain relationship or resolve problems
Achieve CSI targets and relevant metrics
Effect orders in accordance with prescribed system processes and internal documentation requirements
Complete sales reports timeously iaw defined template & data requirements
Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement, prospective sales opportunities. and penetration and Network to improve the presence and reputation in allocated area.
Accurate and timeous record keeping and claiming of commissions
Understand personal development areas and achieve development / improvement results
Share knowledge with colleagues on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs

Job Requirements Matric or equivalent

5 years’ Sales experience in face to face selling environment

Previous experience in a Fleet / Trucking large scale vehicle management / sales environments

Knowledge of tracking operations will be advantageous

Ability to prove knowledge and application of sales methodologies

PC literacy and Microsoft office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent communication skills and be able to communicate to both internal and external customers

Confident presenter to individuals and corporate clients

Relationship building skills

Critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills

Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, and high degree accuracy.

Results oriented: Ability to achieve targets within given parameters

Self-starter, self-discipline and ability to work independently.

Skilled in the identification of opportunities / ideas to improve operational efficiencies
