Overview: Training Solutions Company specialising in skills development training across various fields in the ICT Industry has a vacancy for a Career Consultant to promote student success and increase student enrollments and retention by promoting and recruiting for Career Full Time and Part Time programmes. Must have sales experience, a proven track record of success, and above average communication skills. Candidate will be required to travel to surrounding areas to market career programmes at various schools to Grade 12 learners. Must be a creative thinker, love planning ahead and a talented marketer. Willing to work against targets. Someone with loads of energy will be a good fit. Must be computer literate and have good presentation and communication skills.

Job Description: To execute the direct marketing strategy by; Cold calling, conducting School Presentations, Data Mining and Consulting and Enrolling. Will be required to build relationships with key people at schools / teachers/ parents/ prospective students. Book and complete presentations to grade 12 & 11 learners. Manage data entry into customer relations management software package: Microsoft CRM. Book appointments with prospects and their parents. Liaise with the national call centre. Recruitment of new students against yearly target. Work against strict activity and financial targets. Annual Target will be broken down into monthly and quarterly targets. Be energetic and hardworking and should be able to communicate well with teachers, prospective students, current students and sponsors. Registering and enrolling students against weekly and monthly given targets. Responsible for 2nd year marketing. Involved with Awareness campaigns. Attend and organise events (i.e. Open days & Open weeks). Branding/ awareness and representation when and where required, together with Campus and senior management. Research local competitors. Record keeping of marketing workbook and stats Build relationships with funding and student loan organisations.

Minimum Requirements: Proficient in English (both spoken and written). Sales and or Marketing Diploma. Strong sales experience. Experience in academic advising or related careers in post-secondary education is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Driver's License.
