Main Purpose
To promote and develop business in the division’s sphere of expertise and area of operation with a view to keeping abreast with and improving the Company’s System overall turnover and profits forecast
Key Performance Areas
Attainment of an individual turn over target established mutually between the incumbent and his
Manager with likely 15-20 % increments for ensuing fiscal years
Attainment of an average divisional profit target of 40% on turn over, likely to be adjusted annually
Levels of new business opportunities generated
Maintenance current business generation levels
Containment of personal selling experience

Duties and Responsibilities
Promotion of new business opportunities from within designated geographic and demographic areas of responsibility
Servicing of existing business opportunities from within designated geographic and demographic areas of responsibility
Assisting in the development of spares and servicing business in the designated geographic and demographic areas of responsibility
Collection and simulation of information required for production well engineered and accurately
costed solutions to client needs
Presentation of solutions to clients
Follow up and closure of all business opportunities
Production of business opportunities and follow up reports
Maintenance of business opportunity recording and filing systems
Keeping abreast with company product developments and their areas of opportunity
Internal and External Customer
All clients- potential and existing- within designated geographic and demographic areas of responsibility
Industrial contracts, engineering and administrative departments

Job Requirements
Matric
Nation Diploma in Mechanical Engineering advantageous
2- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Computer Literacy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability and desire to sell
Strong commercial awareness
Confident and determined approach
A high degree of self- motivated and drive
The ability to work in team
The capacity to flourish in a competitive environment
