This could be the position for you! Our client is looking to employ an experienced candidate focused on Sales within SA and East Africa.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the National Sales Manager and the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining and developing key client accounts to ensure that superior levels of customer service are maintained, exceeding customer expectations.
The suitable candidate will focus on business development & continuous growth of key accounts and ensure effective operations within the set targets and budgetary requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A strong technical (engineering) background.
Previous experience in selling Capital Equipment, preferably in the Packaging Industry.
Knowledge of the Food & Beverage Industry.
Have a min of 5 years’ relevant sales experience.
Grade 12 Senior Certificate, with a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Sales, Marketing or Public Relationship Management as a prerequisite.
Computer literacy – MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, Internet.
Excellent people skills, communication skills and customer service oriented.
Proven experience in relationship management.
Proven track record of technical sales and meeting sales targets.
Well-travelled and willing and able to travel frequently, both locally and internationally. (min of 1-2 weeks travel every 2 months)
In possession of a valid driver’s license and passport.
