Our client is one of the leading digital marketing agencies in South Africa.
The company offers turnkey digital marketing solutions with a particular strength in Paid Search campaigns, display marketing, SEO, content creation, data analytics, web design, development and more.
Our client is in the process of modernising its operations that will see it deploy best-of-breed methodologies and systems across its divisions, enabling sales teams to attack targeted market verticals with confidence, backed by new technologies, accurate data and clear processes.
They are looking for a new breed of employee that is willing to take a step up from “sales” to becoming a Trusted Digital Media Sales Executive in the eyes of the clients – and the industry at large.

Main duties:
Sales:
• Reaching and exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Drive direct sales via cold calling (if need be), in person sales calls and presentations.
• Manage and close sales opportunities through accurate forecasting, account and opportunity planning and opportunity management.
• Establish and maintain key account relationships.
Solution Sales:
• Learn and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the companies Digital Marketing Solutions Suite.
• Develop and maintain competitive knowledge of the digital marketing industry as a whole.



Competencies:

This is a mid-tier sales position focused on solution selling to medium and large organisations. A premium is placed on winning new accounts but, also, walking a path and growing existing clients.
The role requires you to locate, qualify, propose, and close deals in an effective and efficient manner.
Applicants must have an ability to understand business needs, develop relationships and match the Digital Marketing Solutions to clients’ business needs.

Knowledge and Skills:
• Proven ability to manage complex sales cycle, with a track record of successful revenue attainment.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to follow a standard approach to selling to maximise efficiency and results.
• Confident, assertive, great attitude, strong organisational skills, and a self-starter.
Experience:
• 5 years minimum of proven sales experience.
• The ideal candidate must have a strong digital marketing, software or relevant solutions’ sales background.
Education:
• Confident, assertive, great attitude, strong organisational skills, and a self-starter.
• Tertiary qualification / diploma in marketing, sales or similar discipline preferable but not critical.
Computer and Technology literate.

Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s License is a requirement.
