OverviewThe sales team is looking for a dynamic individual who is target driven with a positive attitude and a passion for sales. The incumbent is responsible for sales of the company’s hygiene and pest control services, while ensuring consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues.Education and experience required:Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a product and service environment – preferably hygiene and pest control industryExperience in selling hygiene products /similar services would be an advantageMatric Technical Skills required:
Cold calling and telemarketingThorough experience in calling on customers, business development and providing quotationsBuilding relationships with clients/customers at all levelsProven sales track record achieving sales targetsFully computer literate on MS Office, advanced Word, intermediate Excel and basic PowerPoint skills

Key areas of responsibility:
Working with a defined sales quota focusing on initiating relationships with multi-level decision-makers through various channels.Correctly costing new business, achieving the maximum margin on new business.Preparing quotes and/or proposals and presenting these to potential clients.Ensuring a thorough handover of the new contract to operational staff in order to ensure business as usual in as short a time as possible.Operating effectively and efficiently in order to minimise the sales cycle turnaround time.Ensuring management is kept informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly analysis.Assisting with the training of new sales staff.
