DESCRIPTION:
• Sales and Sales office management for sales and support of Commercial Diving and Life Support Systems and Equipment for Africa Region.

QUALIFICATION:
• ND/B.Tech: Mechanical Engineering/Electrical/ Technical
• Sales Training
• Management Training

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• 10 years working experience minimum
• 5 years in a similar role, within in the Marine industry preferable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generate sales for commercial diving and life support systems and equipment for Africa Region
• Management of small sales team for the sales of products, spares and consumables Sales Team
• Achieving sales revenue and margin targets
• Business Development- Develop client base by research and making contact with potential clients
• Maintain contact with client base to make sales
• Be knowledgeable the technical and operational aspects of commercial diving systems
• Travel into Africa may be required from time to time.

ROUTINE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generate sales for Diving and Life Support system offerings for AFRICA region.
• Engage technically and commercially with Clients to define their requirements and propose offerings that suits their requirements with the
support of the proposals team.
• Service Project Trade (Diving Systems and Equipment) enquirers with time frames defined in KPIs.
• Actively seek cross selling opportunities of other group LOB i.e. buoyancy OSE, Gas, Survey
• Work with Proposal Team to Generate Technical Proposals, Commercial Proposals and Costings for Commercial Proposals.
• Manage and participate in the achievement of the objectives by defining, action and delegating the activities required.
• Manage Sales staff personnel with regards to performance monitoring and engagement
• Develop Market knowledge through Client calls and reading of industry literature.
• Make periodic proactive call to clients.
• Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
• Provide clear feedback on progress status on achieving revenue and margin targets. In not achieving budget, suggest actions by staff to
increase sales.
• Monitor Enquiry Status maintained by Sales Team on AX
• Compile Monthly Agency Sales Reports with Commentary and communicate these with Agency OEMs.
• Ensure KPIs performance is tracked by individuals
