A vacancy exists within the company for the following position:

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Purpose of position:

Responsible for fostering a high performance sales team that meets targets and budgets in all regional territories. Must be able to execute plans in key accounts and ensure visibility of pipeline, new business developments and ongoing availability of information to Directors. This role will work in conjunction with our Product Managers.

Key Responsibility Areas:
o Execute systems, processes and tools to assist Product Managers achieve their set targets – in multiple regions.
o Leading, mentoring, training and coaching Product Managers to ensure sales targets are met and business plans are executed.
o Monthly reporting on the performance of the team to the Managing Director.
o Weekly meetings with sales staff.
o Assist Product Managers to convert the sales strategy into action plans with relevance to the local market.
o In conjunction with the Marketing and Sales departments execute plans to increase visibility and availability to drive and increase sales in defined accounts.
o Establish relationships with all stakeholders, internal as well as external clients.
o Liaise with vendors / partners where necessary to achieve set targets.
o Conduct formal quarterly reviews for all direct reports.
o Initiate succession plans and programs for identified high performers within the sales team – to ensure a continuous developing sales department.
o With assistance from the HR department, create personal development plans for all sales staff.
o Management reporting and budget / expense control.
o Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue stream.
o Analyze the market trends, competitors, partners and end users’ needs and initiate action to fill gaps.
o Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, completing online sales training, and establishing networks within the IT industry.
o Formulate all sales policies, practices and procedures.
o Be able to professionally represent the company via presentations and telephonic and webex engagement.
o Professionally and efficiently manage partner engagement with a view to maximizing the client experience. This should be achieved through:
? Adhering to Telephonic Etiquette guidelines;
? Continuous Product knowledge improvement (ongoing training);
? Cross and up sell of available products;
? Fast but accurate responses to email and telephonic quote request;
? Skillful price negotiation using system tools available
o Deal with partner related queries on our products
o After hours attendance at reseller functions may be required
Job Requirements:

Education& Experience: • Grade 12 passed with exemption
• Relevant Degree / Diploma / Certificate
• 5 - 10 years’ IT Channel experience in similar products
• 3 – 5 years’ IT Sales and Management experience
• Senior Account Management experience
• Budget control and report writing skills
Technical Competencies: • Sales certifications
• MS Office Suite (intermediate)
• Experience in Distribution and Reseller Channel
