Premium bathroom fittings retailer based in Edenvale, Johannesburg is currently seeking a highly driven External Sales Rep to join their small but growing team.

Promote new and existing products – up-sell and cross-sell when & where applicable
Supervise and push the sales team to make sales and reach targets
Must promote/sell/secure sales across full range of products
Grow turnover as per targets set from time to time by the MD
Achievement of budgets and GP in areas of responsibility
Assist the decision makers with specifications of products relevant to the project
Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers as well as prospective customers in the assigned territory
Ensure consistent communication with the customer from inception of the project up to completion and after-sales follow-up call as per prescribed procedures
Assist by giving technical advice where required
Compare and monitor competitor activities in conjunction with the office and consult with the Sales Manager to provide a strong and appropriate response
Identify product trends within the market place and report back to the Sales Manager
Follow up on specifications to sales in conjunction with the Sales Department
Follow deadlines of enquiries and issuing of quotes as per the prescribed departmental procedure
Understand training as and when required in order to maintain a high standard of proficiency
Process sales orders on a pre-defined system
Prepare delivery notes & invoicing to the customer
Arrange delivery of the product, communicating the same to the customer
To provide constructive feedback relating to product availability and deliveries
Ensuring that back orders are processed and timeously communicated to the customer
Provides pricing on quotation requests
Adheres to pricing structures of the company
Maintains and records pricing and discounts
Constantly strive to increase the levels of customer satisfaction
Complete weekly and monthly sales reports
Compile weekly reports on all sales activities in the area
Attend sales meetings
Attend product knowledge training
Participate in trade shows
Assisting the Managing director with any ad-hoc tasks as and when required
