Sales Consultant – Durban
(Catering Equipment)

Catering equipment company is looking for a Sales Cons, with a passion for food, to cover Durban area - calling on Procurement personnel in Foodservice Industry / Hospitality industry, such as Hotel conference facilities, lodges, corporate events companies, banks etc.

Duties:
Sales to clients (incoming leads, existing & new clients)
Presentations
Organizing demonstrations for clients (cooking- catering equipment)
Working closely with the Group Chef & Sales Admin
Meet sales targets
Experience in catering equipment / food service / hospitality industry sales
A good understanding of the workings of a commercial kitchen.
Compiling of weekly project sheets
Journey plan & feedback to Management


Experience & Skills Required:
Matric + relevant qualifications / experience
Min 3 – 5 years Sales experience
Computer literacy - a must (MS Office)
Valid driver’s licence & have own reliable vehicle
Relevant industry experience – advantageous
Understanding of Catering Equipment Sales / Foodservice Industry (advantageous but not essential)
Well groomed & articulate
Good communication & interpersonal skills
Be able to take own initiative & work under pressure
Have discipline to manage own time, as well as a planner

Salary: R10, 000 to R15, 000 CTC pm + Comm. uncapped + Petrol card, cell allowance
