Sales Representative/Sales Developer. R300,000.00 Salary per year, Medical Aid, Provident and an Annual Bonus. Large International group - suppliers of chemical products and raw materials to the chemical industry. Must be available to travel, both locally and to African neighboring countries. A Sales or Business Related Diploma or Degree will be preferred. Team Player with strong communication skills. Must be able to work in a pressurized environment.

FUNCTIONS:
Sales (Maintenance of existing business)
• Liaise with various international counterparts and suppliers on a daily basis to negotiate terms and conditions of new orders and contracts.
• Liaise with customers on a daily basis – negotiate new orders/contracts.
• Arrange regular visits with customers – update information on customers; build closer and personal relationships with customers; analyze the customer environment and spot new growth or change
• Set up supplier visits with customer base
• Monitor the local environment and track market trends
Business Development
• Introduce products to new and existing customers
• Market Research, to provide feedback to international counterparts – customer information; competitor actions; market trends and new developments
General
• Assist in budget formulation and setting of section growth targets
• Take on ad hoc responsibilities from managers
