Our client is seeking an EXPERIENCED digital print sales representative for the Cape Town area.
Minimum expectations are:
1. OVERALL OBJECTIVES ARE;
• To generate new business across a broad spectrum of industries.
• To profitably sell the Company’s products to the above.
• To continually thrive to exceed sales targets and assist in future company growth.
• To ensure on-going client retention and business generation by means of client servicing.
• To ensure that the Company’s service standards are met and to uphold their reputation in the market.
• Monitor competitor’s tactics and movements.
2. SPECIFIC DUTIES ARE;
• To accurately target markets, companies and persons that will utilize the Company’s products.
• To build a customer base through leads from directories, internet and researching prospective clients.
• To setup regular appointments with the decision makers and or buyers at the above mentioned companies either personally, telephonically or by mail.
• To introduce the Company and it’s services to clients at a face-to-face meeting.
• To confidently win over and assure clients of the superior quality of the Company’s print.
• Develop new customer relations, initial and follow up customer contacts by telephone or appointment.
• To expose prospective or existing clients to the full range of products on offer by showing and explaining different materials and print samples.
• Determine the exact need of the clients.
• To supply the best solution and suitable product to suit any specific job.
• Educate clients on correct material application and printer capabilities i.e. indoor and outdoor usage.
• Supply the Company’s alternative to a Competitor product.
• Handle all written and telephone communications with existing and prospective clients responsibly.
• Follow up telephonic or personally to make sure that the client has received the quotation/s supplied.
• Educate clients on correct file preparation and reproduction requirements before going to print.
• Solicit orders through telephone communications, quoting and regular visits.
• To collect correct artwork and order number from client on job placed for print.
• Placing the job in the system by means of accurately filling out job bags on the Cyrious System.
• Coordinate product availability, pricing, credit terms and delivery with appropriate company personnel.
• Ensuring jobs are correct and delivered on schedule.
• Follow up on all leads, orders and deliveries to encourage repeat orders.
• Prepare reports as needed.
• Keeping detailed, accurate and up to date filling systems and contact records.
• Monitoring competitor activities and prices.
• Keeping abreast of market trends.
• Exceed customer’s expectations through superior customer service.
• Handling queries and complaints.
• Monitor clients monthly spend with the Company.
• Maintain minimum sales requirements on monthly basis.
• Promote a positive and professional company image at all times in house and traveling.
• Other duties will be assigned from time to time.
Own reliable transport is a must. Salary: basic plus commission dependent on experience.
