Sales Representative
· The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following duties amongst others:

1. To plan and prioritise external sale activities, with customer or prospect contacts towards achieving agreed business aims.
2. Plan and manage market segments according to an agreed market development strategy on a regional and national level.
3. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate sales proposals, ethical sales methods and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
4. Use customer and prospect contact activity tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
5. Respond to and follow-up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
6. Record, analyze, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
7. To create, develop and continuously evolve a business plan for the various market segments.
8. To develop both cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within new and existing accounts
Salary offered is negotiable, but includes company car, petrol allowance, company cellphone, and pension.

Requirements for this position:
• Minimum requirement Matric (with technical subjects advantageous)
• At least 3 years sales experience
• External Sales experience advantageous
• Technical / Industrial sales experience advantageous
• Must have worked in a technical environment with the ability to read drawings.
• Working knowledge of the engineering & industrial industry will be an advantage.
