Sales Specialist:

Opportunity available for a Sales Specialist at a Global IT Service Management company in Woodmead, Johannesburg.

Requirements:
Matric

Someone who has significant knowledge of the key stakeholders (business, IT, procurement etc.)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieve revenue and margin objectives with all assigned accounts to ensure growth and maximum profitability for the client
Actively pursue opportunities across client’s full range of products and services
Develop / execute strategic account plans and tactics to build relationships, develop early cycle business opportunities, increase account penetration, deliver strategic value and schedule regular business reviews with the client
Maintain and keep up-to-date all sales records, etc., to ensure effective account management
Ensure database of key customer personnel is kept current and ensure that appropriate marketing and messages are delivered to targeted client personnel
Consistently reviews/evaluates account/action plans, marketing activities, programs, etc., and modifies as needed.
Exercise good judgement in utilising client’s personnel, funds and other resources in building relationships, creating opportunities and winning deals
Effectively interact and engage with the Head of Business Development to provide appropriate solutions for customers
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor’s products, programs and pricing
Monitor industry/market trends and developments.
Own and maintain all opportunities in the Sales Pipeline for the accounts
Demonstrate adequate knowledge and effective use of products, programs, systems and solutions and pricing
Understand and articulate all the solutions/service offerings; proactively identifies and develops opportunities that address a client's business drivers
Provide feedback to management team on account and opportunity planning, client engagement and win/loss reviews on a regular basis
Display high level of negotiation skills in the process of converting opportunities to revenue
Identify and cultivate professional business relationships with assigned accounts
Continuously work with all levels of management to strengthen and grow business relationships, thereby elevating client’s status from vendor to preferred supplier and trusted advisor.
Utilise different networking options effectively (meetings, joint planning, entertainment, etc.), to build productive internal/external relations
Maintain and develop competitive/industry contacts to keep up with trends, changes and opportunities.

Salary: R350k per annum
