MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 certificate

1-3 years’ experience in Material Management/Creation and maintenance of the Master Data SAP ERP system

Computer literate (MS Office and SAP)

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Strong Analytical skills and problem solving abilities.

Specific ERP or ABAP knowledge useful but not essential

Technical or business background, , and understanding Business systems

Able to apply company policies and procedures and adheres to procedures at all times

Demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Well organised and good communication

Should extend to applying preventative not just remedial and corrective measures.

Good risk and situation judgement, leading to balanced escalation

Rigorous, discipline approach to work. Good process awareness.

High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to work well under pressure completes the profile

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

The effective, efficient and accurate creation and maintenance of the Master Data SAP ERP system.

Process incoming requests for set-up of master data within expected turn-around times.

Ensure data integrity is met by following existing SOPs, naming conventions and governance in place

Identify incorrect data submitted by the business and follow up with requestor to ensure data is correct.

Participate in keeping the governance process up-to-date and relevant when needed.

Lead Master data initiatives in rolling out new functionality within the ERP or when integrating new systems into the ERP.

Periodic cleansing of master data in line with archiving strategy.

Perform all other related duties as assigned.
