SAP MASTER DATA ADMINISTRATOR

Salary: R240 000 CTC p.a.

An International Company in the Wine Industry has an opportunity for a SAP Master Data Administrator at the offices in Paarl. The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Manager. 5 years’ relevant experience required as well as strong knowledge. Strong organizational, interpersonal and relationship skills needed. SAP experience a must.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
? Strong Analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
? Specific ERP or ABAP knowledge useful but not essential
? Technical or business background, , and understanding Business systems
? Able to apply KWV policies and procedures and adheres to procedures at all times
? Demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities.
? Well organized and good communication
? Should extend to applying preventative not just remedial and corrective measures.
? Good risk and situation judgment, leading to balanced escalation
? Rigorous, discipline approach to work. Good process awareness.
? High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
? Ability to work well under pressure completes the profile

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
? The effective, efficient and accurate creation and maintenance of the Master Data SAP ERP system.
? Process incoming requests for set-up of master data within expected turn-around times.
? Ensure data integrity is met by following existing SOPs, naming conventions and governance in place
? Identify incorrect data submitted by the business and follow up with requestor to ensure data is correct.
? Participate in keeping the governance process up-to-date and relevant when needed.
? Lead Master data initiatives in rolling out new functionality within the ERP or when integrating new systems into the ERP.
• Periodic cleansing of master data in line with archiving strategy.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
