SAP Systems Analyst 

Vacancy for an experienced SAP Systems Analyst in the Information & Communication Technology Department based in Stellenbosch. Reporting to the ICT Service Centre Manager, your initial assignment will be the maintenance, support and administration of the SAP ERP MM, PP, QM, PM, WM - ‘SD’ must be included - modules: SAP ERP SD, MM, PP, QM, PM, WM modules; within the Service Centre.

Key performance areas will include, but are not limited to:

• Analysis and understanding of existing customised application configuration and development;
• Perform 3rd line user support by diagnosing and resolving application problems;
• Perform detail application configuration and documentation;
• Prepare functional specifications for relevant application development requests;
• Quality assures application configuration and development;
• Identify and report recurring system problems;
• Assess training needs with Training Manager;
• Facilitate end-user training on ad hoc basis.

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

• Minimum Grade 12 Certificate;
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous;
• Minimum of 3 years configuration and development experience in at least one of the following modules: SAP ERP MM, PP, QM, PM, WM + modules; ‘SD’ must be included - modules: SAP ERP SD, MM, PP, QM, PM, WM modules
• Solid understanding of Information Systems and Technology management;
• Very good analytical skills;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
• A passion for people and service excellence;
• Goal orientated team player;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
