Responsible for expanding and retaining the group’s customer database, TFG Financial Services offers credit and insurance services as well as publishing and cellular offerings via group stores and its expanded call centre facilities (which employ more than 1 500 staff).

The BI business unit of TFG Financial Services is a dynamic, complex environment characterized by continuous growth and expansion. A role has become available for a SAS Business Administrator. Working closely with project teams and other partners to gather business needs for the SAS application and analytics environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Consult with project team and other partners to gather business needs, optimise future needs for the SAS application and analytics environments.
• Partner with various stakeholders to address performance issues and action relevant processes to add new metadata users and groups to the SAS environment.
• Provide in-house application / functional support and help guide users through the troubleshooting process.
• Provide expert input and advice to ensure efficient use of the SAS System (e.g., efficient coding techniques) and monitor resource consumption.
• Maintain list of frequently asked questions (FAQs).
• Manage SAS Info Map
• Training will be a key performance output
• Manage analytical model production life cycle.

As the ideal candidate, you will need:
• A relevant qualification is essential.
• Must have at least 3-5 years experience in Base SAS 9.2.
• Experience with Enterprise Guide and Enterprise Miner are essential.
• Need a good understanding SAS Web Infrastructure Platform
• Experience with Platform Suite for SAS
• Expert knowledge of the SAS environment and what products are installed within a retail environment.
• Project Management experience would be beneficial.
