Sea Freight Export Controller R10 000.00 per month

International Freight & Logistics Company based in Cape Town has a vacancy open for a Sea-freight Export Controller .

The right person will be young energetic have passion for client service .Ultimately the right applicant will be responsible for opening and processing as well as managing files for all Sea-freight export shipments on their designated trade.

Key Performance Areas
Updating sailing schedule.
Process bookings and send booking confirmation to customers.
Follow up on stack dates with shipping lines and advise customers when stacks are firm.
Send CTO/ delivery instruction to relevant company.
Empty depot releases to be sent to shipping line prior to container collection.
Ensure that [shipping instruction / Bill of entry] = prior to packing / Commercial invoice / packing list and fumigation certificate is received.
Submit shipping line shipping instruction prior to shipping line deadline.
Invoicing
Print, stamp and release bills for customer collection
Confirm to customers in writing once consignment has arrived at destination.
Process cargo dues / acquittals.
Process invoices within 24 hours of receipt and send proof of payment to the party involved.
Cost, close and post file within 4 days of vessel sailing.
Issue telex releases
