An Exciting New Senior Account Manager position has been opened at a Full Service Digital Agency Johannesburg, South Africa. This agency has been in business for more than 14 years and they have clients that range from some of South Africa’s biggest Retail & Banking Brands.
This position requires someone with a natural sales flair and solid experience in servicing Digital or PR Marketing agencies. The agency is smart, they are professional and above all, they are passionate about their brands and they will choose someone who naturally understand this.

The Senior Account Manager responsibilities would include:

- Managing the on-boarding of new clients
- Accountable for all client communications and manages expectations
- To be an above average brand ambassador
- Seeks to upsell and grow revenue intake from clients
- Briefs in new campaigns to campaign managers / collaborates with campaign managers on new campaigns
- Educating clients on the agency’s philosophy of Performance Media buying
- Sources reports and campaign insights from campaign managers and send to the appropriate client contact
- Collaborates with clients and campaign managers on strategy and planning
- Responsible for getting IO’s signed off and populating appropriate spreadsheets with details
- Continual learning and research into best practice and tools associated with paid media
- Briefs in creative work to design

Skill Profile:

- Marketing related qualification
- Experience with Google Analytics Adwords and DoubleClick products is a benefit
- Excellent organisational and problem solving/decision making skills.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in digital marketing in the role of Account Management.
- Strong Account Management skills; client oriented and highly motivated.
- A people person – comfortable with collaboration and can build internal relationships with cross-functional teams (e.g. Consultants/Ad Operations/ Campaign Managers/ Design).
