Senior Accountant position available in Pretoria South Africa, for one of the largest water suppliers in Africa. In order to be the ideal candidate for this position, you will have to employ excellent internal controls in order to minimise business risk relating to the inventory value chain, Identify and apply preventative measures to reduce loss due to inventory items becoming obsolete, establish mechanisms to eliminate theft, losses, wastage and misuse for each category of inventory as well as identify and implement changes in legislative, regulatory and statutory frameworks. Qualifications and skills include; BCom Accounting Degree, minimum of 3 years inventory work experience at management level, minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial environment and knowledge and good understanding and application of King 3, GAAP, IFRS, PMFA & National Treasury regulations
