Your key job responsibilities as the Senior BI Data Analyst in Cape Town will include:

- Statistical and data analysis, model building and data mining
- Report consulting and the conceptualization of new reports
- Training and education around data systems, reports and analytical outputs
- Involvement in a number of defined yet ad hoc data services offered to clients
- The provision of data and analytical consulting to clients
- Financial Analysis
- Proactive data investigations and recommendations

Requirements for this Senior BI Data Analyst job in Cape Town:

- A graduate/postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline (Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Mathematical Statistics or similar )
- A sound understanding of relational databases
- Experience in or exposure to written SQL
- Experience in or exposure to report writing technologies
- Superior applied excel knowledge and a proficiency in MS Office applications
- Exposure to or interest in data mining technologies
- Experience in or exposure to analytical research/methodologies
- Very strong maths and stats experience/skills
- Strong client interaction skills
- Business interpretation of decision support data
- Experience in financial analysis will be advantageous
