Administrative Assistant

Key performance areas:
o Do administration with regard to new and existing business
o The preparation, summary and administration of quotations
o Capturing of clients new / altered business details
o Capturing of details on to business register
o Ensure that FICA and FAIS documentation has been received
o Follow up on outstanding matters
o Assist with medical aid administration for individual clients and corporate clients
o Ensure data integrity in order to maintain correct information at all times
o Handle queries timeously and effectively
o Ensure that new clients information are updated on the system and existing clients changes are captured
o Assist broker with instructions received and ensure that broker is kept up to date with progress
o Organizing of relevant training with product providers

The successful candidate must have:
o Matric with 3 – 5 years experience insurance, investment or asset management environment OR a degree in finance
o Current / previous work experience at a financial advisory company will be advantageous
o Experience on any CRM system preferably Spotlight or Elite Wealth Database systems would be an advantage
o Must be methodical and well organize
o Must be willing to work in a team
o Highly computer literate
o Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – fully bilingual
o Ability to work under pressure – confident personality
