We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a Company in Cape Town.

Purpose of the position:
Gather, organize and resolve information on problems or procedures to deliver maximum value to the business.
Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.

Requirements:
BComm Information Systems or similar degree with National Certificate or Diploma in Business Analysis
3-5 years BA experience
Knowledge of operational processes on a regional or global level
Experience in a workflow intensive operation and proven track record of understanding requirements, driving solutions & delivering high-quality service to internal and external customers
Demonstrable experience in being a subject matter expert of a complex workflow application and full SDLC
Intermediate to advanced experience in Agile development, scrum development, Jira and Confluence tools
Experience in a content management operation beneficial

Duties:
Understand existing processes as they relate to the Research, Quality Assurance and Sanctions functions, as well as delivery of related content to product and clients.
Engage users and conduct on-site observation to ascertain functions and work performed
Understand current functionality and dependencies of the primary internal content management application
Provide second level support to editorial users with regard to this system
Confer with management, users and the technical team to identify problems and improvements.
Analyse support trends, concentrations and root causes and drive continuous improvement
Document findings of studies and prepare recommendations for implementation of new features, procedures and fixes
Gather and specify detailed requirements and liaise with the development team, IT manager, Project Manager and Head of Process Specialist Group to deliver as part of Agile development processes
Liaise with users on UAT testing as well as with QA testing on cases and approach
Contribute to Change Management and prepare and train workers in use of new functionality, reports, procedures.

Salary R40 000 per month plus Benefits
